Becoming Jane: The Evolution of Dr. Jane Goodall

National Geographic Museum

Spanning from her early years as an inquisitive child in England to her life’s mission as a global environmental advocate and messenger of hope, this complex 6,400 square foot traveling exhibition celebrates the life, work, and legacy of Dr. Jane Goodall. In addition to archival images, artifacts and documents the exhibit utilizes immersive media installations to bring visitors face to face with Jane where she not only tells her story, but empowers visitors to become advocates and agents of change themselves.

As Director of Exhibition Design I led an interdisciplinary team of in-house designers and collaborated with several media and scenic contractors to create the exhibit. Our team worked closely with The Jane Goodall Institute and Dr. Goodall to develop and review the exhibit narrative and to research and procure assets for the exhibition.
