Tomb of Christ: The Church of theHoly Sepulchre Experience
National Geographic Museum
This media experience showcases the work of archeologists and conservators that spent a year documenting and restoring the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. The core experience consists of three media galleries that tell the story of the site’s history and importance today. At the center of these is a panoramic 3-D media presentation built from actual LIDAR scans of the Church itself.
To manage visitor traffic through the pulsed media galleries and to provide additional critical interpretation, the in-house exhibit team created a supplemental exhibit gallery that included deeper perspectives on the restoration team’s process, technological tools, and discoveries.
As Exhibit Development Manager, I coordinated with media contractors and led the physical and spatial design of the supplemental gallery. I also worked side by side with the fabrication and installation team to complete the project
